Pastor Dennis Harbach Email Pastor Harbach
Pastor Dennis Harbach graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in May 1993. He served at St. James Lutheran Church in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin for 10 years. Pastor Harbach came to serve St. John’s Lutheran Church of Nodine, MN, in August 2003. Pastor Harbach and his wife, Allison (Thomas), have six children: Jeremiah, Susanna, Chloe, Matthew, Michaela, and Jonathan.
Mark Kutz - Principal, Grades 7-8 Email Mr. Kutz
Mark Kutz and his wife, Heidi (Schnieder), are originally from Wisconsin. They have three children, Joshua, Ben, and Katie. Mark graduated from Martin Luther College, New Ulm, in 1994. He previously taught at Niles, Illinois and Sturgis, Michigan. He and his family came to Nodine in July 2004. Mr. Kutz is principal and teaches grades 7-8. Heidi Kutz teaches our PreK 3 program and serves St. John's Church as an organist.
Thomas Zuberbier - Athletic Director, Grades 5-6 Email Mr. Z
Tom Zuberbier graduated from Martin Luther College in 1995. He first served at Glorie Pei-Bethesda, Milwaukee, WI, then St. Paul's, Columbus, OH. He has been teaching grades 5-6 at St. John's Nodine since 2001. Mr.Zuberbier is also our Athletic Director and Coach for most sports at St. John's.
Julie Beach - Grades 3-4 Email Mrs. Beach
Julie (Zeamer) Beach came to St. John's in 1987 after graduation from Martin Luther College, New Ulm. She taught grades 1-2 for 6 years. She married Brian Beach of Dakota, MN in 1992. She resigned her teaching position when her first child was born. Julie and Brian now have two children, Cody and Carissa. Julie returned to the teaching ministry in 2004 and teaches grades 3-4.
Laura Schaper - Grades 1-2 Email Mrs. Schaper
Laura (Adamczyk) Schaper also graduated from Martin Luther College in 1995. She began her teaching ministry at Trinity in West Bend, WI. In 1999, she was called to teach grades 4-5 at St. John's. She has been our 1-2 grade teacher since 2001. Laura and her husband, Brad, have two children, Aaron and Addison. Brad is a teacher at Luther High School, Onalaska, WI.
Judy Winsky - Kindergarten Email Mrs. Winsky
Judy (Free) Winsky began her teaching ministry at St. John's Nodine in 1971,upon her graduation from Dr. Martin Luther College, New Ulm. She was on the first staff of teachers at St. John's Lutheran School. She served until 1975, when she married David Winsky. In 1984, Judy accepted the call to return to St. John's as the Kindergarten teacher. She has been faithfully filling that role for over 25 years. Judy and Dave have three grown children Eric, Becky (Winsky) Miller, and Rhoda.
Heidi Kutz - PreKindergarten Email Mrs. Kutz
Heidi (Schnieder) Kutz, is the wife of our principal, Mark Kutz. They have three children, Joshua, Ben, and Katie. Heidi graduated from Martin Luther College, New Ulm, in 1994. The Kutz family came to Nodine in July 2004. Mr. Kutz is principal and teaches grades 7-8. Heidi Kutz has been teaching our PreK program since 2010. She also gives piano lessons and serves St. John's Church as an organist.
Tracy Heyer - Secretary Email Tracy in the Office
Tracy (Richards) Heyer has been a member of St. John's since marrying Dean Heyer in 1984. She has been on staff at St. John's since 2003. She is the administrative assistant for both the pastor and the principal. Tracy and Dean live in Nodine and have five children: Christina, Seth, Aaron, Henry and Melissa.
